Quake III Death Match Tournament

I was thinking of shaking things up here. What would you guy’s say to a one on one
Death-match. 1 map 1 Bot set to NightMare three rounds of 15 frags. I will award some sort of prize To the winner. Requirements you must be a registered GM member and I will be running a pure server so check your Pack files. I will switch the server over soon and you can test your connection. If you would like to enter post your name and the best time that you would be able to play. Am not sure how I will set it up yet. Was thinking set up a time slot for each player with a password? The player will play three rounds of 15 frags on the same map The winner will be determined by Gibstats The highest Ranking Player wins or the highest scoring player in the event the log wont parse or something. I will tell you now to get a screen shot after each of your games (F11)

I setup the server for testing. 1 Bot 3 maps pure server. make sure you can conect
I will be checking in from time to time to see if anyone is having any problems.

OT: $pike and Salvation I saw you guy's try to conect last night. Did you have a problem? the server was set to pure. I didnt think I was running a pure server for Freeze. It was Shogun and Chico against me and a bot and we had some very close games. GG's Guy's :thumbs: More gooder :blink:

I kept getting the mis-typed or invalid cd key. I finally just gave up and uninstalled Quake III. I going to take this computer over to Sho and get him to set it up. :thumbs:

It really doesn't make since to me, last week I could play any of the mods or maps I had installed, online or by myself and last night the only one I could get to work was Bazooka Quake. :WTF:

You must remove all q3cdkey files except the one in your baseq3 folder.
After you install a mod check that folder for a q3cdkey file and remove it.

Mods go here in there own folder(C:program File/Quake III Arena)

Maps go here(C:program File/Quake III Arena/baseq3)

Nightmare bot in Q3 is hard, i dont think you gonna make that 1vs1 with him.

If you want to win, you msut be really good with Railgun and Rocket Launcher then.

Is it possible to set the bots not on nightmare so that the not so good players get a chance too?

I can play 1vs1 with Nightmare bot.
I have almost all wins on Hardcore difficulty. Only 2 tournaments on Hurt me Plenty. All other is on Hard.
