Yeah. I had it for a few days, but my parents made me return it. It was OK though, because I had a C64 and then a Tandy 1000, so I learned computer stuff rather than playing games. It gave me a head start, and I can play Metroid and Mario now, so it worked out.

A Tandy program? Like in GW-BASIC?

Yeah, those were the days. Too bad I was really behind the times with that. I could have gotten into Unix back in the late 80s as opposed to the late 90s.

:sigh:

Oh, well.

my oldest game console is the original Nintendo GameBoy (the package with Tetris and earphones included)

I also remember other handheld consoles like LYNX and Sega GameGear (which looked much like the GBA now and already had a color display)

NES for me... Then the original fat ugly Gameboy which I still have but i think it finally broke... Put in new batteries and it doesnt turn on.. :( I did find my Gamegear recently... I have no idea if it still works. Man was that light years ahead of gameboy, color and back lit. I still have my Genesis :D Still works to although the sound got messed up a long time ago since i played it so much. I play NBA Jam or Street Fighter Special Edition on it. Ok anyone in nba jam can beat my record of over 200+ straight wins tell me please.

Yes ive heard of it, used to have some really old magazines with it in them. It faired miserably and had bad games. Although I do remember that they remade Doom for it.

I was almost one of the poor saps that bought one of those POS...

How about the Turbo Grafix? That system was the tits. I had the CD-Rom for it and everything, well before the SEGA-CD.
It had a ton of great games too....or the Neo Geo? It actually had the arcade board from SNK built in, and games ran from 100-200 bucks!

Whoop! I see the Neo Geo is listed....but the Turbo Grafix isn't

I had a NES a long time ago but sold it, which I regret to this day. :(

My oldest currently is a Sega Nomad, it's like a Genesis but in Game Gear form. I have a Game Gear too....
