The Nintendo Nexus is not really a fake, it is a concept as is the PS3. Sony has developed a chip that contains both chips that power the current PS2. They are working on a new &#39;cell&#39; architecture for the next console, which they may dub the PS4 since the production of the chip right now would cost Sony 4 billion dollars. So, feasably the cost will come down in the future, and the PS4 will see a 2006-2007 release. By that time, the new XBox will be out. So, Sony has thrown the idea of releasing a PS2.5 if you will, that will have the single chip architechture to go against the Xbox 2 or Xbox Net or whatever they want to call it.

I haven&#39;t heard or read anything &#39;solid&#39; about the Nexus. I saw that pic about a month ago.

One source for this info is The Inquirer (http://www.theinquirer.net/) they are based in Great Britian and update the site by the hour with latest tech news.

Personially if Nintendo wanted to make a system that looks like a smooth verson of the Nintendo 64 that would have been done plus thats not a mini dvd disc in the drive. Nintendo didn&#39;t want people to easily copy their games so they had a company produce mini dvd&#39;s for Gamecude why would they go to normal sized dvd&#39;s or what not? Anyways why would they go from small box to a larger and smaller case? As for the PS3 it has potential. I don&#39;t know about the new controller that I saw from the link last time I heard most of the companys want a slick and less complicated button configuration and the PS3 controller looks like one of them heavy duty RC Airplane controllers with a slight changes in the controller case. I have to say that those are definitially concept.
