I recently installed XP on my new computer and found out that Nortons 2000 won't work with XP.

Just wondering what virus pprotection I should get and what you XP users are using.

I'm pretty sure Nortons has a version that works with XP. I'd have to say that it is one of the best out there right now. It's what The University of Dayton uses to keep all of the college porn/warez addicts from screwing up the University servers, so it must be good.

I use Nortons 2002 with XP. Bought it at a computer show last year for less than $15. I got the same for my dad and his year registration ended last month. Went online and got another year of updates for $15, which is what I will be doing for myself next month.

Does all I need, scans email before sending and on incoming mail. Updates automatically in the background and I've never had a problem with it.

I have Norton System Works 03 on my XP machine aswell. I think I just installed the AV though. No need to install all that other stuff till I have a problem and/or it starts running goofy.

Nortons 2000 does not work with XP your clock will change time and a couple of other things will act funny. Any version beyond that works great. I use Nortons 2003 pro. Saved my but countless times also
