new freeze in the betas

I was reading on some forums today, that a new version of the freeze tag mod it out in beta now. It has some screen shots if it and it looked pretty kewl. Also looked like there will be picture in picture so you can watch your teammates if you are frozen. I will try to find the link and post it here. The grappling hook looks way better. More like a lightning bolt, but better looking then the lightning gun.

BTW there's a way to turn on a rear view with the version we are playing now, But IMO it's too much to try and watch

Q3 Server now running V1.2 Freeze

Just download the ufreeze-36core.pk3

ufreeze-36core.pk3 (http://ultra.freeze.co.nz/files/ufreeze-36core.pk3)

Add this file to your ufreeze folder. and your done (you must have the full ufreeze installed)

removed 11th random pellet from shotgun (now 10 pellets, max damage 100)

Frag is there a way to set it so that when a team scores a point that everyone (Both teams) is unfrozen?

Like it did when you had the server set to instagib.

Ill check the config but I don't remember seeing an option for it. I wish it would
do that too. Playing just bots... give the order to follow you and one will come an un- freeze you.

Something else, When I downloaded the new .pk3 file for somereason mine was named ufreeze-36core.pk3.zip. Delete the .zip extension and copy that to the ufreeze folder and it works fine.

Added: Picture in picture
Commands: /addpip (clientnumber) adds a PIP window for that client.
/pip enters PIP maintenance mode, wherein you can drag around windows, close, maximize, etc.
Currently PIP is only active when you are spectating. Legitimate spectators can have PIP windows of anyone,
Coaches and frozen players may only have PIP windows of players on their team
Trying to /addpip the client number of the player who is currently on your main screen will not work :-)

A few days late, but...

I&#39;m not sure about the version of UFT you&#39;ve got installed. (Make sure you keep up - latest is always available at http://ultra.freeze.co.nz/ - basically the maintainer&#39;s page.) You should be able to add PIP windows by getting into PIP management mode ("/pip" - or bind a key to "pip" and press it), bringing up the scoreboard, and clicking on a player. The interface is completely mouse-driven.

Personally, I like to add PIP windows on my teammates when I&#39;m frozen to keep track of what&#39;s going on.

Glad you guys like the mod; it&#39;s fun to see it used. I&#39;m one of the coauthors. :) I used to be the principle author, but borland does that now. I just contribute code every once in a while - like PIP and server-side demo recording. :D If you guys have suggestions or bugs to report, swing by http://forum.ufreeze.com/ and post there.
