I've been trimming my apple trees (which have been allowed to grow like crazy for the past 5-6 years) this weekend and ended up with a huge amount of branches laying all over my yard. I had no idea what to do with it all, so I just HAD to go out and buy a chipper. Here's my new baby :w00t: :

but really how much can it hold?
I have tons of trees around my house, and I do 100 filled
(man filled, not woman filled) trash cans full of leaves,
seems like it would be a lot of work for the leaves.

Not really. It can reduce leaves 8:1. That&#39;s assumming that you have a use for all the mulch. Actually, my mulcher mower can cut them up fine enough that I don&#39;t even have to rake. So I won&#39;t really use it for leaves too much. Just all the freakin branches that I trim, and those that fall during storms.

It can handle a 3" diameter branch, and anything bigger than that is firewood. :thumbs:

I bought one of those a few years ago.. I went a little cuckoo cuttin&#39; down all the trees and feeding &#39;em into the chipper..
Now it looks like I&#39;m living on a golf course.. :lol:

Really does works nice shredding the leaves.. Just make sure you don&#39;t rake any rocks into the chute.. makes a helluva noise.. :oooo: :P
