i installed windows xp pro
and somehow it didnt see my geforce3 ti200
i got a sign :new hardware found

and when i clicked on it it tried to install the right software for it, it failed
and it came back every second
so i disconnected my gf to look up the newest drivers on internet
get them ready for install and connect my gf again

but after i disconnected my gf3 my ps burned!!
this was the second time in like a month!
i dont understand what went wrong, how it went wrong and why it went wrong
all i know is that it did go wrong
i disconnected the gf good, and didnt brak anything or something

anybody know whats wrong?

my dad will buy a new ps this week, but i think it will burn again!

WHat size and brand ps were you using? Also what drivers were you trying to load?

i dont know about the ps
but i was trying to install the windows200/xp drivers for my gf3
i found it on www.nvidia.com

Just ignore the hardware found message crap and execute the Driver setup. If you are getting a new power supply make sure it is a good brand like Enermax or Sparkle or something good. ANd at least 300 watts. 350 would be better though.

Sometimes when you install/reinstall nvidea drivers you must remove the original drivers with (add/remove programs) and then run a program called "detonator destroyer" that will remove 2 nvidea files that still remain...reboot after that and reinstall your drivers...pain in the a$$ but it sometimes is the only way.

ok somehow i couldt get my computer on in the last week
i thought the ps burned again
but now its going again, and sometimes it just crashes again
and i have to try once in a while
really crazy and i dont understand!

anybody knows whats going on?

Well, what was the problem.....big ears?.....gayness?......someone pulled their finger out of the dike?......I can't stand the suspense....plus I am bored as hell.

i had to download detenator detroyer or something

and chan's ears didnt help the probleme
