Please read the whole guide first, before starting. Firstly locate your serious sam 2 folder. Usually, on the c drive under program files, croteam,serious sam the second encounter. Before opening this folder, make a shortcut to it on your desktop to make it easier to find next time, as you will need this everytime you want to change which version you run. Now open the ss2 folder, and at the top should be the bin folder. Dont open this, but copy it and paste to the desktop. Then rename it 1.05. Now upgrade your game to version 1.07 (Upgrade available from www.seriouszone.com, and many other places) Make sure you get the right version, Euro or USA When you have done that, locate the ss2 folder again, from the shortcut on the desktop, and again copy the bin file to the desktop, but this time rename it 1.07 If you have followed this correctly, you should now have version 1.07 installed, but you should have 2 folders on the desktop named 1.05 and 1.07 If you run the game now it will be 1.07 To change back to 1.05, quit the game. Locate the ss2 folder and open the bin folder. Now open the folder on the desktop named 1.05. Copy the contents of the 1.05 folder, and paste into the bin folder in your ss2 folder. When it asks if you want to replace the files say yes to all. When that is finished, run the game and it should be back to 1.05, although it will still say 1.07. It will stay on which ever version you have until you change it again, but you must always quit the game before changing. Once you have done it a few times it only takes a couple of minutes, but it does make it easier to have the folders and shortcut on the desktop.
To go back to 1.07 right click and click undo copy.Then open your folder(on desktop) that says 1.07 and copy all inside it then past into bin
