I'm desparately trying to get talked into going to Las Vegas in late August. What sites do you guys suggest for the best flight/hotel prices? Looking at Orbitz I can get 3 nights at Ceasar's for $350 and 2 tickets from Detroit for $560.
Anyone know of any deals? This would be my 4th time going to sin city.

Stay at Luxor. Best hotel on the strip!

I've stayed at Luxor, Treasure Island, and Key Largo :)
A bunch of my family is going too and they are staying at Mandalay Bay so Ceasar's is damn close if I remember right.

You are such a n00b. Caesars is dead center on the strip and Mandaley Bay is at the end next to Luxor.
Caesars does have a killer pool area along with the infamous VENUS POOL where you can see nude bathers. (unfortunately they are probably all 60+, so right up your alley Sal)

I just sent my mom for 3 nights. Got airfair/room from Orbitz. They are a little cheaper than travelocity or expedia.
Good Luck

That seems a little high Sal, I think you can shop that around a little. August isn't even prime time for Vegas so someone should have some bargains goin.

If you like hot chicks (sorry DL) stay at the Hardrock Hotel. Although, your wife might not be interested in that but who knows!

yeah one night there and then the heart break hotel
Stay in the middle of the strip, unless you're into walk-a-thons or being cab fared to death.

Cool Dude, Glad to see you making it to our town, That is a pretty good price for Ceasers but as DL said It's about a mile to a mile and a half away, if you want to get closer to them check the Excalibur, Tropicana, Or the MGM. You should call one of those place and see if the can make a deal for you. They usually have junkit flights to get people here. If you need any info I can see if I can find it for you

I agree with Pimp... That does sound high... Try Hotels.com too, I've seen deals there too but I have had the best luck with Orbitz.. What about Stratosphere? I've seen way cheap prices for that hotel, it's just that it's toward an end of the strip but you can still get everywhere....

Try Hotwire for your airline tickets. I've been checking prices for tickets for the past month, and they've had the lowest prices (most often).
