So, I am playing UFT today, and I noticed that the bot hit me with the grapple, and I froze immediately. Did he just shoot me on the way in, or does the grapple really stick it to you if you get hit by it?

They shoot you with the shotty as they are coming towards you.

As far as I know the grapple does no damage.

I usually have a rocket launcher in my hand and blow myself up when I do it. :rofl:

they can grapple to you and i think you can stay on them while their running. hows that for some weird teamwork

Yeah. On the instagib servers, sometimes they'll grapple you and then pound you with the blades (or whatever #1 is). :P

I've not seen anyone use the gauntlet in Freeze Tag.
