New Sam player

Ok, I've had SSSE for a week now, guess I'll finally install it. Am I correct in thinking that the latest patch is 1.07? For those of you who don't know me, I'm an Outlaw Quaker. Been Quaking for years, so I'm not new to FPS's, but everyone tells me this Sam thing is fun.

Correct about the patch.
Get ready to party melonhead.

A few pointers:
The knife is usually a one hit kill
You can run and jump faster and higher with the knife
You can jump higher when running up ramps especially at the top
you should bind your grappling key to the knife
