I was playing UT2003 today with my new GeForce FX 5200 and I was only getting 30fps!
With my 4200 I was getting 80fps. How can I fix this?
I have a
2.35 Ghz P4
512MB DDR RAM
40GB Hard Drive with 1.08GB free space

Try putting "-firstrun", without the quotes, in the command line. That will kick up the video card choice menu, and will give you the opportunity to change which card you are using. Right-click on the shortcut to the game, and go to properties, then put -firstrun behind it. See if that helps...if the game is still using the old card, it might be bad.

Its just a general question but do u know by how much game performance will improve if u upgrade from 128megs of ram to 256megs of ram? Both PC-133

80%! GO FOR IT!

really, that is kind of a meaningless question, but yeah, the more ram the better.
It may not improve game performance - much, but you will be able to run games while doing
more things with your computer, ie, having email programs open, etc.

Did you uninstall your old drivers and install the newest ones?

Well I already had the latest drivers for the Nvidia cards when I put in the FX, I had a GF4 4200 before that...I think I will uninstall old one and install the new one.

When swapping cards always reinstall the drivers.

Absolutely. Even with unified drivers, you still need the machine to see the card properly.
