Well, it isn't the name, it is the tags.
People are sensitive about tags being stolen and used by others.
It is what defines a clan, and you have to earn membership.
For someone to take the tags and play on a clan server, well, that is uncool...

Whle banning seems foolishly paranoid to me, I understand your point.

Tangential to this topic, there have been numerous occasion where, after a copious ass kicking, people leave the game and return as Optowoman, Optosucks, (insert equally pathetic drivel here)... Just indicates to me that I'm playing well that evening.

Maybe it was some type of compliment to your clan?

Well, I think it is funny myself.
Still someone wearing the clan tags represents the clan,
and for those that may not know the difference, it may be good or bad experience
but yeah, when you have people ripping your tags, you know that you have arrived :jammin:

hmmm, dunno if that is the real strider.
he is having connection issues, but his numbers are still much higher than that
usually he would leave if he was sucking that bad...

I assumed it's the usual strider, replicant, change-my-name-16x-a-day guy -- he certainly had the same temprament.

In all honesty though, Strider is a kick-ass player. His ping sucks because of his connection (like 350-450 :blink: ). But he has been hanging in games lately anyway, so that goes to his credit. :thumbs:

When he dumps his current provider and finally gets pings around 120-150 like he should, then ph3ar Strider! :devil:
