DL's review of latest Tomb Raider - Angel of Dark.

I have been a fan of the tomb raider series since the first. Well sorry to say it, but the first is the only I was a fan of. :)

The latest installment fails in every category of gaming. The controls are horrible, bugs and glitches are everywhere and the graphics are subpar compared to today's games. All in all I agree with every review the gaming mags and sites are giving it. This game is a pathetic attempt to milk further money from gamers' pockets.

I will cut this review here. I see no reason to continue to discuss this absolute disappointment. To think, a year ago Sony told Eidos that they were not allowing that game to be available on the PS2 due to technical problems. THAT WAS A YEAR AGO. My question is in that year.. what did they fix. I shake my head in amazement on how terrible this game is and what a shame for the franchise. Hopefully the movie will be better. ;)

I receive greater amusement looking at my signature line and that stupid dog getting sprayed in the face by the sprinkler! :devil:

Very disappointing. I read that they used a new engine on AOD. Where's the PATCH? Hmm... sounds familiar. :wacko:

LOL no.Cradle of Life is the name of the movie and Angel of Crap is the name of the game&#33;

The PC version is stunning visually. But the controls more than make up for the superior graphics and bring the whole game down into the trash category. I played it for about 15 minutes before I got sick of it.
