Funny thing in NAV, does anyone's NAV say the same thing? I get asked to update all the time, but it never finds anything new. Hasn't in ages. Maybe time to reinstall or something?? :WTF:

Hmm did your subscription run out? Are you running any firewall software? If so disable it then try to update.

Subscription is good till 3/2004. I don't have a software firewall, have a router with a firewall.

Very odd. Your Auto live update is on but your last Virus definitions is in March when it should be July 30. Can you run the Live update?

Grimmy NAV updates viris def. about every 10 days, Maybe sooner.

Also i'm behind a Linksys Router w/firewall and I haven't had to open any ports.

I don't have my auto update turned on, I always manually update. You may just want to reinstall the AV part of System Works. You can do this by going to the AV file on the cd and click on NAV install program.

I ended up uninstalling nortons and reinstalling and it's working now. Weird how that happened, and well I didn't catch it sooner. Time for full system scan

I was going to tell you the same thing Grimmy. I run Symantec (Norton) Antivirus Enterprise Edition where I work, and every now and then it just goes silly. Sometimes to the point of manually uninstalling the product by ripping registry entries out. Fortunately, this has never happened on a server, but the workstations more often then not. Reinstalling always does the trick.
