Although I have never really gotten into horror-survival type games, I think this one may be able to drag my intrest into these games. I have to say this was the creepiest game, scariest game I have ever played. I would literally get goosebumps whenever I heard some weird noise, or a sudden scream or moan out of the blue.

I did jump one time while walking around an old haunted mansion. That's all I will say about that though.

I thought the story was pretty weird and far-fetched, but I was able to keep up with it. The monsters in this game are like the first two: ****ed up. But overall, I took a shining to this game, and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a good challange or scare.

It still doesnt make any sense! You Dark Reign immediately bought, LOVED, and beat the game in less than one day.

BUT we still havent beaten the 2nd one when we had it longer than ONE day. Why is it that you dont like playing that one?

WHY?

Silent Hill 2 is a fine game my dear Gun, it's just that you own it and so therefore I cannot use my mental powers to decipher it because you are always slobbering over the controls and for SOME unknown reason I just, ummmm, don't want to play. How incoherent is that for you? Just enough? ***.

Another thing about the Silent Hill games is that one minute you are in the "real world" and then the next, you're in some horrible, scary alternate version of the real world with living walls and EVERYTHING is rusted. EVERYTHING.

Can someone please explain?

Gun Element
08-10-2003, 09:47 PM
Its because its Silent Hill, the main idea for horror in the game is more the environment and no "real" answer story

Gosh you dont know anything

Hey tell me, I never played the first one, but didnt it tell any information as to what happened to the city or what the monsters are/where they came from?

Dark Reign

I have now come to a therory that they aren't really monsters, just figments of the crazed person's imagination. Or possibly creatures summoned from hell or something.

Thats what Im talking about. So the cabbage is the reason people are turning into the creatures they are.

This means the the weakness is contained the apples itself! BRILLAINT! Also the fact that its the nerve ending anticipation is unreckoning its just too obvious to the oblivion.

Thats incredible XG. See Dark Reign you need to wait first.

You know, out of all of the monsters in the game, I'd have to say that the ones with the big long arms are the creepiest. Or that one that jumped out from under the car in the 2nd. What was it Gun?

i think the point of SH 1/2/3 is like the Blair Witch Project. Did it really make ANY sense? No. But it was good. Blair Witch 2 had a plot, and sucked.
