A little surprise for DS and all else out there...

Well make a real long story short...DS got a new server. 16 player player public server, Its gonna be similar to the RYTS server in the fact thats it gonna be half public half private. Its been up but im not that good with the admin stuff yet so I need to wait on diss for it to really get going. Some changes:
1. We have a gummi as an admin: Red
2. Public 16 player so its gonna be half and half.
3. Most of the 1v1s will be held here for the tourney.
4. Im an admin...obviously as well as marx being a new addition.
5. TDM is going to be the main setting with TTM ALWAYS on. Weaponstay and other stuff will obviously change.

All admins will get pmed with some stuff...and diss I need your help so ill see ya on msn or online or something. (right now its antalus 24/7 heh). Maybe get 4 guys or so on the server in tdm and practice against a random 4 since its public and work on teamwork and other stuff. When its closed the pass is going to be the same as it is now on the other server unless a ladder game or something. So far everyone thats been in has had great ping and lets hope it keeps going. Anyways I hope you guys enjoy and most of all USE IT!!!! heh.

We&#39;re still working on getting a server up and running as well. We had a member who was going to hook us up with colo space, but then he got a new job and moved to Chicago. We&#39;ve got some other options that we&#39;re looking into, but nothing solid yet. Thanks for giving us somewhere to play&#33;

I got all the maps going on in rotation and managed to add campgrounds to the list, but I gotta keep working on ttm since its pretty tough to add a mutator. Im gonna give diss an e-mail but I know hes busy..so maybe ill just ask around. I uploaded all the files for ttm and changed the .ini but for some reason its not showing up in mutators. Thanks to all those who helped so far.

I know that Zero and Smooth both run tourney&#39;s at Lanwar and AsylumLan and since they run them they have to know how to set up the servers... I&#39;m sure it&#39;ll be a little different doing it remotely and thru a web interface but I&#39;d definitely ask them... they may be able to help ya

Are you running this on a Linux box or a PC? Setting up TTM is cake if it&#39;s on a PC. I have NO idea how to set it up for Linux, tho.

yeh its through a linux one in washington dc so I live no where near it. I just spoke to them server company and for ttm they gotta add a command line or something. So ttm should be set up tonight along with the typekill mutator.

woot...its all up and running, ttm and typekill mod are both up as well and working. TTM v 2.1 was giving me some serious trouble but the latest one TTM 2.3 is working great..so be sure to download that one since im not sure how quickly the downloads go from the server.. I think its around 10-20 kb per second so if you got like 3 minutes than you can just download it directly otherwise go to www.planetunreal.com/ttm and get 2.3 .
