Has anyone been able to do it? I can to all my puters on the lan but cant say connect from Legohunters house. Any sugestions :WTF:

We used to use VNC to run the Detroit and St. Louis Sam servers back in the day. Great program:

i am using "net meeting", that program comes wit all OS&#39;s (windows). with it you can remote any desktop :wave:
just look in your program files directory :thumbs:

Um no it isn&#39;t. I connect to a server in Arizona with it, I am in Florida. :wave:

VNC is very simple and good. I use it constantly.

Yes I am. I am running winxp pro. I am going to Milwalkee for the 100 HD big party
for the wk. I want Shogun to be able to control the servers while am away. in case of power outage or something. Oh buy the way Shogun will you monitor the servers while am gone :oooo: :P

I have been using MS Remote Desktop for several months now. I connect to my PC from by office, then to each of the other three PCs on my home LAN from that connection. You have to have XP Pro for the server, but the client can be anything with the client software installed. I use XP Home at the office. For firewalls and routers on the server side, you have to open / forward TCP port &#036;%^&. At least that works on my router.

Edited: Been advised to never post actual open ports in open forums. Will PM ports from now on.
