well my dam hard drive died again, **** :fist: IBM!!!!! I am back up now on maxtor, it was hell, had to get a dam boot disk for it to work,,, now i'm going XP, but my key is not valid,,, I wonder why??? so my service paks will have to be gotten off another key, another 100+ megs off the net lost, once again I backed up nothing,,, I will learn one of these days, 25 megs first for the sound blaster live platium 5.1, then 30+ for the ATI all in wonder, then reinstall the games,,, and i'm on dail up... :rolf:
what fun,,, i will be using the IBM as a back up drive,,, and will get another maxtor and go raid next month sometime,,, by the way folks IBM has a class action lawsuite for the crappy hard drives they peddle,,, i might be able to get back the $100.00 i paid for it.... I should be back at full speed in 2 or 3 days.... and will be in need of GIBS... :knife:

I've used Maxtor and Fujitsu. They come with 3 year warranties and have been really reliable plus they are not expensive. I heard that Western Digital is pretty good also. Good luck Justn.

I use to have a western digi, and it crashed once in 4 years, but was only 3 gigs, that was BIG back in the day,,, IBM just can not make a good hard drive, its a shame, and a pain. Now if I just can just get the xp service paks I'm set, I did not even know i had the full version of it, thought it was an upgrade, well time to install some codecs for ATI.... :?
