is Lindows something like Windows + Linux?

i never saw that OS, but it cant be better than MS Windowses

not used it, it is supposed to be a full linux install that can go into a windows partition.
if you set things up to dualboot, then you can use both.
it is also supposed to be friendly in detecting hardware, but most installs do this now
it doesn&#39;t have any greater ability to run windows programs than what other distributions do though...
if you have a spare machine laying around, then i would suggest putting a new mandrake install on it,
and get a kvm switch (about &#036;30/bestbuy) and you can easily switch between the two, rather
than a dual boot....

whocares, i made a post including a link awhile ago on lindows 4.0 review. I am looking to purchase this and set it up in my kitchen for my wife and who ever comes over. one good thing is you do not need a powerful system to run it and has all the stuff windows has in one package.

i will find the link which has alot of pictures and info about it.
