Interesting how-to on reassigning skill points if you are not happy with the way you have speced out your character as you have leveled.

Interesting. I wonder if I should go 2 handed instead of sword shield. :hmmm:

Everyone I talk says not to. You get killed much more quickly without the benefit of a shield.

I like my slash and shield.
I did not know any better when I started so I put a couple of points in thrust.
I may respect to get rid of it.

Keep in mind that if you chracter was not made before 1.51 and 1.52 went live, then you DO NOT have a full respec at your disposal. However, at level 20 and 40, you can do a single line respec (refer to link above). If you level to 41 or 21 though, you lose the opportunity.

The only other way to get a respec unless they change the classes and award one through a patch is to help kill the dragon. He drops both realm skill respecs and full respec stones.

Ok I am thinking about this, becuase well I just got a spell to get a pet, level 7 spell, and I am at level 21. Someone told me to train in one thing, so I did. I have been asked to buff "crack" (don't ask, becuase I don't know :rolleyes: )

Will I be able to respec being a level 21? I'd like to balance it out a little more. Just thought I would ask before doing. :online2long:

You CANNOT respec at level 21. The only "free" respecs are single line (they clear one spec line to level 1 and return the points to you). These occur at levels 20 and 40. They are lost if you level to 21 (or 41) before you use them.

I can't stress enough that you should talk to several level 50's of your class (/who arms 50, /who sorc 50, etc) before you decide on a spec path. Also, use the character builder on daoc.catacombs.com.
