The ping is the amount of time that it takes for your computer to reach the server and vs versa. The further away you are from the server, the higher the ping you&#39;re going to have because the information has to travel a longer distance. Therefore, you will be at a dissadvantage playing against somone with a lower ping. For example......if you&#39;re in a duel with someone and you both shoot at the exact same time, yours will hit them first if they have a high ping. That&#39;s why it&#39;s so hard for the Europeans to play on the American servers :( I hope that explains it.
