Ok, I'm done making my CS movie, but every time I export it, all I see is the title, and then i hear the music but none of my clips are in their! It's just black video with music! I'm exporting it with the file type Microsoft DV AVI. My titles are 740 x 480 but does that matter? My clips are 640 x 740...Well please help me I will love you forever.

Yo, i use Adobe Premiere too.

you need to add all to the timeline <_<

Ok ok, i am always saving as AVI, but i am using DivX codec to save to AVI.

My Vice City Stunts Extreme was created with DivX codec

Ok, I am rendering the time line now, I am using the Codecinema Codec pack. But it seems I can't pick which codec I want to use anymore... It is not the codec, I am sure of it,I used the XviD codec and it still came out blank, same with every other codec. I beleive BIGG is right, we will see.

*EDIT*

Well again, I rendered the timeline and all that shows up is the titles!!! ARGH!111

snipr, after render did you save it? if you did save it, what format did you save it as? this is where your problem is i think.

also, check your setting and see if there is something wrong.

No I didn't save it, but after I rendered it, and when I pressed "Play" on the timeline, only the titles showed up. Well I changed the codecs and I'm rendering it now. I have Premiere 6.0 BTW

myself and most of the other gummis all used xvid for our movies I believe. I dunno how divx is but I know we didn't have any probelms with xvid... glad to hear you have something working now... time to tweak it and find the right codec I guess...good luck! :jammin: :wootrock:

here's a link (http://www.freewebs.com/smiley/compression.htm) that may be of help... Smiley makes some pretty good UT movies and his little tutorial may help ya out a bit. :WTF:

If you want to upload movies do they have to be in a certain format or is like a .wmv file ok?

lol, avi, mpg or wmv.

The last will probably be the smallest.

you will probably not be able to upload anythiing though as the files are
usually huge and need to be kept on some type of server that allows huge files.
