My Sunday evening ladies team just got notice that we got the wild card for playoffs!!! :wootrock: :wootrock: We have our first playoff matches this Sunday!!! Wish us luck~ :jammin: This is our first session playing together so it was a learning experience for us all to see how each new player played and get to know each other's styles... :D

:woohoo: :woohoo: OK, so last Sunday was our playoff and we WON&#33;&#33;&#33; Plus, I found out that we weren&#39;t the wild card after all, we actually made it in on our own due to a tie between the 2nd and 3rd place teams... So this Sunday is playoff #2 so wish us luck once again&#33;&#33;&#33; :wootrock: :thumbs: :woohoo: :woohoo:

We can have up to 8 on a team but we only play 5 matches per week so it takes some thinking to decide who will play and who will sit... Handicaps range from 2 to 7 and the lower the hardicap, the less games you have to win. So say there is a 2 and a 4 playing each other, the 2 has to win 2 and the 4 has to win 4 or if a 3 and a 5 are playing , the 3 must win 2 and the 5 must win 4. Then the winner&#39;s team gets a point for each win (meaning the one who wins the number of games they need first) So the most points in a week you can get is 5 plus you get a bonus point for turning in your scoresheet by 7pm the day after you play... I am a 2 but I haven&#39;t been playing that long... I won last Sunday though&#33;&#33; :thumbs:

Soooooo, we got our a&#036;&#036;es handed to us Sunday night... :bawling: I didn&#39;t get to play and the first three gals lost and it was a race to 3 wins... :WTF: Oh well, we were just happy to have made it to the playoffs with a brand new team... I am co-captain next session and we have a really good shot joining up as well. :cool: Better luck next time... :happy: We still have a shot at the city tourney on my Thursday night team where we are in 4th place... :thumbs:
