CF @ GM First anniversary

On January 3rd 2004 CF SS:SE division celebrates its one year anniversary.

Our forum at GM started one year ago (Jive you have permission to dig up the first post :P ). I would like to thank the admins of GM for granting us this opportunity and thanks also goes out to all the people at GM for making this forum a fun community.

Now I will elaborate a bit on how the CF SS:SE division came into existence (and I will do my utmost best not to repeat too many things from our pinned history thread ;) ):

Most CF's who played Ssam Second Encounter left the game and went on to play Rtcw or other games. Only one crazy Belgian CF kept playing, although he was well aware of all of ssam's disadvantages such as F9, Stabilizing Connection, European Pings,... [list continues endlessly]. And such as Obelix would say this belgian was a strange fellow: as a stubborn [read determined] and proud Aries he kept wearing his CF tags, being the only one to represent this clan in SS:SE.

A few months after GameMecca had started, he decided to join the forum community. Soon he got the idea to try and reserrect a CF SS:SE division.
Today at our first forum anniversary the results exceed my initial expectations.
CF is not only reserrected in SS:SE, it has grown into a respected and widely appreciated clan with an intercontinental dimension.

Therefore I owe and give thanks to all members of CF. A CF member is selected on the basis of his or her good attitude because I believe that this is the way to make a difference in the Gaming world. All members have my gratitude for making this work.

Gothreaper/Isaac/GrAFix: Together we build the new divison from scratch.

Sepra: I recruited you as a noob, but I trusted in your potential and you have proven me right, being a key player of this clan.

Hey, I may be a newb but I&#39;m proud to represent CF in SS:SE. It&#39;s the first multiplayer game I&#39;ve ever played online (get that) and I wouldn&#39;t give it up for the world. Cheers to the crazy Belgian for which I became a member. The first thing about CF I read was the history thread and it told me that this was a dedicated clan. Something that gives it&#39;s members pride. :wootrock:

Hopefully, with the release of SS2, Sam will be reborn and better pings for servers will show up with more newb&#39;s to recruit. Congrats to Complete Finishers for outstanding performance and loyalty from it&#39;s members. :jammin:
