mx500, would act like the wheel was continually being spun,
weapons switching uncontrollably, impossible to play...

so i switched to my old intellimouse explorer, that was painful...
the mx500 is much better.

I called logitech, and they are sending a new one out, and they said
to destroy the old one...

Instead I took it apart, cleaned it, and now it works, so I guess I have a spare...

great company, can't highly enough recommend their stuff, although
IMO their mouse software sux (but the intellimouse stuff works....)

Logitech is my favorite too. Of course I'm using the old P/S 2 3-button Mouseman...the one shaped like a wedge. They're durable. Optical? Mouse Wheel? What are those?

Maybe I'll join the new century and give this one a try...good to know they still back up their product.

I went from the 5 button intelli mouse to the mx500 about 3 months ago . best move I made. The microsuck mouse clicked everytime I tapped it on the table! Nothing like being in a fire fight and all of a sudden haveing a translocator in your hand instead of a shock rifle

nah, the intellimouse is fine, or at least the first ones were. it died, and for the
second one i had, the side buttons are just too close together and flow with the body for
my clumbsy fingers. i would find myself switching to the knife at random times...
but if you are used to it, cool. i will say that the logitech mouse is more precise,
going back to the intellimouse is like turning mouse sensitivity down....

I go through about 4 optical mice every year. Doesn't seem
to matter which make they are :bandhead:

My dentist tells me i also brush my teeth too hard

as an update, the mouse came yesterday - a new one in a new box.
I don't need two, so I went to the local office store and paid $20 to
swap it for a wireless mx700.... I am such a :loser:
kids, do not do what I do if you want to go to heaven....
