Review

Old http://images.belkin.com/F8GFPC001/FUL1_F8GFPC001.jpg

New http://images.belkin.com/F8GFPC100/FUL1_F8GFPC100.jpg

The major difference is the amount of keys, and a few extra buttons by the thumb.

The directional pad by the thumb is what I us for movement, and it's what broke on the old n50, the new one has a stiffer thumb control pad and I progamed the button above the thumb for Rockets, and the one below for mini gun. That should improve my weapons switching speed. The new version also has a slightly slanted keyboard and is shaped so your hand turns in a little. Much more comfortable, but I had to move all my programed keys left, there is also a different angle to the thumb which is taking me a while to adjust my movent especially dodge jumps

Overall, a improvement and more capabillities than the n50 but I loved the n50, once I get used to the new one, look out!

I don't understand, is the thumb pad better/more precise than the wasd layout?
what do you do for jumps? how well are you able to move and switch weapons,
and also hit the different function keys with the rest of your fingers?

btw, thanks Pure, I am just wondering if this would be good for me...

my keystrokes just suck! so I switched to this, if I were a normal human, instead of a sub-mutant  I'd use the keys for wasd, they even have it layed out, then the thumb pad and mouse for weapons. Also, you can macro this keypad so one key can do some binds, and you can set it up so there are different sets for each game.

Yeah, keyboards and webbed fingers don't mix. It looks like a pretty cool setup, I'd definitely need the one with more buttons. I don't have, but should have, more weapons keys set up for quick switching.
