This past weekend was AsylumLAN 15. The usual competitors were in attendance. Myself, [EvL]Dakota, jin, [Ev3]SSB_Master, FuManChu, and Trenchcoat.
I started off in my FFA with a perfect score of 58-0 to take the number one seed. Dakota ALSO had a perfect score of 44-0 to take the #2 seed.

All of the top 6 easily moved on in the first round on Compressed. Second round on Crash I had to play my sister hahaha Purr-ple[GummiBear] who was the #17 seed. I wasn't trying to really beat her down or anything, and as a result, I walked into a big goo blob :P Dakota didn't die in his second round match.
Third round was on Grendelkeep. jin beat Trench, FuManChu beat SSBMaster, and me and Dakota both beat two n00bs. Again without dying.
This setup the semi finals, best of three, between me and jin, and Dakota and Fu.
I beat jin in two games, but Dakota and Fu's best of 3 was some of the closest Ive seen. Dakota got down early on Map #1 (Crash), but came back to win by 1.. 8-7
Then.. in Game 2 (Compressed), Dakota again fell behind by 5 or so. He brought it ALL the way back into overtime where Fu got him with the Lightning. final score was AGAIN.. 8-7
Third game was on Ironic, and Dakota controlled the match very well. Not letting Fu get the flak. He ended up winning convincingly and headed to the finals. This was seriouly some of the best action all tournament and it was up on the projector for all to see.
In the finals I ended up beating Dakota on Crash and Antalus, but he played an AWESOME tournament. Getting a GREAT seed and riding it all the way to a trophy in the finals.
Tom's Hardware was there, and hopefully will be writing up a story on it.

Thanks to {DS} and GameMecca for all of the usage of their server and good sportsmanship during play. Part of what made me get decent at the game was being able to come to a place like this and have a consistantly good server and fun people to play with.
