ok, since this thread wont die, I&#39;ll explain.

I moved a thread from antihero (who is now banned) for Ride the Spiral to our private area since {DS} has had a lot of new players coming to GM to check us out. We didn&#39;t need them seeing this crap, but I guess in OT, it&#39;ll probably be fine.
antihero was invited to check us out here by one of our members, he&#39;s a good player and wanted to join. He didn&#39;t meet one of our main qualifications, high speed connection, so we said sorry, we can&#39;t accept you. He posted this under the title " DS SUCKS&#33;&#33;"


DS SUCKS ASS&#33;&#33; IM A KICK ASS DIAL UP PLAYER AND THEY WONT ALLOW ME IN THERE GODDAMN CLAN&#33;&#33; :devil:&nbsp; :devil: I WAS JUST LOOKIN FOR A GOOD GAMING CLAN BUT NOOOOO&#33;&#33;&#33; WE DO NOT ACCEPT BLAH BLAH AND BULL **** AND THE SHIZNITS AND BLAH&#33;&#33;&#33; SO SCREW YOU&#33;&#33;&#33; :jammin:

We have the high speed connection rule for reasons, and we&#39;ve turned away some good people in the past, like PJ ( who would probably be a fun member) because they don&#39;t have HS internet, and we&#39;re not going to change that. {DS} competes in team oriented gaming and a 56k player lags the game and 90% of the time can&#39;t compete at ladder level in a full server. Picture Red[Gunmmibear] with a 60 ping vs PJ with a 400 ping, it&#39;s just not gonna work. UT doesn&#39;t work the same as SSSE. If anyone thinks otherwise, I&#39;m sure Red would love to prove me right on this one, not to menetion, most of {DS}

We also have sportsmanship rules in {DS}, this guy obviously wouldn&#39;t have made it even with a t-1 connection, he could&#39;ve been better, like PJ was, and said that he&#39;d look us up once he got HS if he still needed a clan.

I hope this ends it and I&#39;m not trying to diss any 56k&#39;ers, I have alot of respect for players like AI who can woop ass with 56k.
