Looks Like I'll be turkey hunting

I got the news today that I got drawn for my Michigan spring turkey hunting permit. They work off a lottery system. So, from 4/19 til 5/2 I'll be in the woods. :jammin:

I am surprised Michigan has a lottery with the wild animal population as big as it is up there. Missouri has never had one for turkey or deer unless it is a special hunt in certain areas near large metropolitan areas. Missouri has one of the largest deer harvests year in and year out.

see now man, I wouldn't even have to wait in the woods. They come up on our front deck every morning :lol: no kidding, they knock the bird feeders around but because we've never shot them or anything, they aren't afraid of us.

Wonder how many we could put away with a single blast from a shotgun.... :devil:
