who are good with installing ASP to website? i think i have all requirements - perl, cgi and mysql

i am a bit confused why ASP works without SQL, but using MS Access databases. what probably we dont have

i tried program with my frontpage, it works good, but when i am uploading it, it dont open as asp page, but as programmed text.... did i missed something???

its same when i didnt created mysql tables for PHP install.

How to install this ASP??? Please help its important and may be good for you too.

Think your host should be able to do that for you. Depending on host, you might have to pay extra for that. Just have to check out there site and see what it says. :)

Are you talking about installing ASP into your own box, b/c if you are, do you have IIS installed? I know that the first time i tried to install ASP, I didn&#39;t have IIS, so it wouldn&#39;t. To find out, go to control panel - add or remove software - windows components and see if IIS is installed. If it is, i don&#39;t know what&#39;s wrong, but if it&#39;s not, try that, b/c if you get asp running, you&#39;ll need that anyways.

Of course, i never actually got asp running...LOL, but i do know that it requires IIS.

No he wont be installing anymore, because we dont have hosting anymore.

Your host has to support ASP for ASP pages to show. If your host is running Linux, Apache and MySQL, then your host probably does NOT support ASP. You have to find a host that is running Windows and IIS to support ASP pages.

yep our hosting worked on linux and didnt allowed ASP pages to work
