UT2004 fun

Heh, so I downloaded the UT2004 demo to try it out on my new rig. I had it when it came out on the old rig, but it could barely run it so it pretty much sucked.

I cranked up the number of bots and was goofing around. I had the flag and was standing at the end of a bridge mowing 'em all down with the mini gun. Then when they spawned and came at me again I pulled out the redeemer. :lol:

I always loved the ever-increasing messages as you racked up the deaths... Multi-kill! Ultra Kill! MONSTER KILL! etc... never got this one though: :devil:

Oh, and I'd already gone through a couple others too... I think it went Monster Kill! Monster Kill! LUDICROUS! WICKED SICK! then to that one.

It was funny as hell, that's for sure.

HPC was the one putting the rig together and had some probs.

I bought mine ready-to-go online and it showed up perfect.

It DID take me a while to figure out how to turn on the surround sound on mine. Turned out it looked to be a prob with xp's auto-hardware updating deal. When I'd uninstall the old sound drivers to install the new surround sound ones it keep having problems. I finally had to just cancel out the auto-update and let it sit in the backround doing nothing while I put in the new ones.

Heh, and yeah, I'm having a LOT of fun with it!

ut2004 looks awesome :D i would buy it but my comp sucks way to much for the game :(
