Personally, if there were no power-ups I would be a happy character. But everythime I play I am confronted with the decision that if I leave the power-up the next guy behind me is going to scoop it, blast me in the back and walk on without even a word of thanks for leaving them the power-up. I take it because it is there, but I like to ration myself to only two a game. Sometimes three if I see other great players getting as much. Any 1-vs-1 should have no power-ups, however when there are 12 people in a match the pwoer-up is like an ace in the hole. Because if you scoop it, well you basically fulfill its function. you gain a considerable advantage, and that's why I don't like them. Bones was a master, but he also was a master of the power-ups as some other people are I've seen out there. And you can't really say much about it because if they are thinking like I think than they may be doing it as a defensive manuever, whoever I do think there is a limit where players can seriously abuse the Power-ups. Anyways, that's just my two bits.

I agree on the part with Ephemerion, If I dont take the powerups, someone else will and splatter me against the wall!!

If Outlaws will become a no powerups server. GREAT!!!

It used to be annoying... people would say "bones suxors, why do you get teh powerups" (correct spelling). I would just reply "hey, why don't you get it?". My philosophy is that, if it's there in the game, why not use it. If everybody agreed to not use it, great. If it's not in the game at all, even better. Invulnerable is the worst powerup.
