Anyone have any good ideas on taking off the heatsink to this card? i want to put in the thermaltake GeForce 4 cooler.

unless you are going to overclock it it really does not need it. Do you alredy have this card. My Gainward had the plastic pins holding it on. I hate when they use that thermal epoxy.

I am going to overclock it. My friend has tried almost everything and still can't get it off. Stupid epoxy.

I usually take a flat blade screwdriver and put it under on side and twist it a little and it pops off. If you do this be very careful not to harm any traces on the board. I have heard putting it inside a ziplock bag and putting it in the freezer for a while to get it really cold makes the epoxy brittle and it comes off easier. Have not tried that theory though. I'll tell you this. It is freakin scary popping that damn heatsink off.
