hmm im not sure about a link it came w/ the windows i instaled (windows ME) maybe jusy uninstall XP and go bye ME ( if you can aford)

Windows is just a fad anyway. Everyone knows that command line operating systems are superior in every way.

Go to the Tools menu of your browser (for IE anyway) and choose Windows Update. If there is a newer version of Media Player you can update it from there.
