A couple of things....
First, I can't keep up with where to post. I know I don't get to the forums very often. Someone said we moved, yet there are plenty of new posts here...anyway...

Second, I am getting very depressed with playing this game online. I feel like many players are tweeking the program to their advantage (cheating). There is just so much you can do with skill, but when one guy is EVERYWHERE you spawn after he kills you and he is also killing six other people in the game, something just aint right. This particular one was also using an alias and would not tell me who he was.
There is a whole long list of people who play better than me...and then there are those at my level that sometimes beat me and sometimes I beat them. Then there are those that are somewhere off the scale and ALWAYS kill you with one shot.
I figure if the playing field isn't level, what's the point?
I understand the varying levels of skill and then of course the ping rate factors in as well as many other things that go into making the playing field uneven as it is.
I don't know....am I just being paranoid here?
I can deal with the spammers, cannon whores, power-up mongers and even the campers...but I can't deal with cheaters.

Dan, don't worry about it dude. There are those that don't have the skill and think it is necisary to cheat. But like all time good players, you learn how to deal with it. Look at the swim cheat. When if first came out, it was hard to go up against, becuase it was different and something that most never seen before. But now, we know what to look for, and swimmers aren't a problem. Same thing with spamming on the servers. You know where the spam spots are, you just have to be cautious about those areas. Yea there is the wall cheat, but you can tell those people who use it. I will admit that I used it, but I have taken it out, 1 it isn't fair to others and 2 you have to be standing there or facing a certain way to see it, and well it just wasn't worth it.

The key to all of this is to learn what others are doing, spam, wall cheat, swim, and know where they go, what they do. Then you know what to look for. It is a process of developing your skills and hand and eye cordination. You will get better man, I have faith in ya. Just have fun, you won't win them all, I sure the hell don't.

Also, I will point out, that no, we are not leaving GameMecca. Yes we have other forums that we post in, that are GODS only. There is reason for that, it gets a little personal there, and shouldn't be brought here. But we will never leave here. Just have to work a little faster and have 2 forums to read and stuff rather then one. It'sall good!

yes, the wall cheat, which some people use. I will admit, when I found out about it I used it, but I wasn't on the servers much. That was when I was appointed GM coordinator and was working one some things for the site. But since then I think it sucked and took it out, back to normal and all skill now.

What about the sniffing your own ass cheat. It only works on 1.05 though as far as im aware.

Thanks guys for the words...especially Grimmy. It has cheered me back up. That and I won a few tonight which doesn't hurt.
I don't know...I just have got the impression that guys that have more time on their hands are getting into the scripts and hacking the program to be able to move faster and shoot more effectively. Perhaps it IS just skill on their part. I know about the SWIM, see-through-walls (which is useless, IMHO)....and now, OMG..the Sniff-your-own-a$$ cheat. Next we will have the suck your own dl#k cheat :lol:

Besides looking funny as hell does it help you cheat in any way at all? Or is the oppenent supposed to laugh at it so much that it distracts them from the game? :shifty:

When you see a player facing the wall, you can be pretty sure that he&#39;s using it. Mind you, he can also be taking a leak. :lol:

It makes you a lot smaller and harder to hit. :)
