error messege in ut2k3

i got the following messege loading the leviathan map in single player mode. any ideas what it could mean

We uninstalled the old nVidia drivers and installed the latest ones and it didn't make any difference. Has anyone gotten this message before?

WTF makes no sense to me.
Try to do another install.

im preaty sure it has to do with the level. the others work fine intill the leviathan level

Did you download the UT patch? Also, try asking here:

Those are the official UT2003 forums and I'm sure its been asked there somewhere before.

AT the same time though, why would it be that map? The patch didn't have anything to do with maps, it was all user interface crap.
But hell, I don't know. I don't get the error, I just have my input, which is worth spit in a bucket... :blink:

Sifi will re-install it tomorrow and add the patch. If that doesn't work then I'm sure he'll be back for more help. :D

Where it says "ReadFile failed:....." is the problem. When it uncompressed some file, the internal check value didn't match the calculated one. Either uninstall/reinstall (with or without patch) or determine which file it is and recopy it.

so it was the level or a file accosiated with the level?

well it seems to be working now so i still have a few questions.

we all were gm tags right?
how do i get to the gm server
