Painkiller -- First Boss....HELP!

OK, I'm talking about the 1st General, the guy with chains.

It starts easy, he will occassionally try to smack you, which is easy to avoid, and sometimes when he hits the ground undead wake up and go for you, but they are only Zombie Warriors....simple.

Phase 2, when he snaps his chains isnt much problem for me either. I mean, the spike attack is a little cheap, but you can jump away from them with alot of bunny hopping.

When he is like on 1/4 health remaining however, he uses this Whirl Wind attack that just kills me off....how in hell do I avoid it?

get ammo for the shotgun and blast him, strafe jumping from behind as much as possible

Yeah I got it, thanks man, on the Chapter 2 boss now.

That one was tough for me to beat. Took a while but I got it :)

Found a cool trick to fighting that first boss.

As you are running around the graveyard you'll notice a few spots where there is a little 'hut' type structure (i.e. the armor is in one of this little structures). Now when the boss uses his whirlwind cyclone attack run for one of these huts. As long as you are under that little canopy, the wind won't get you....plus I gotta admit it looks pretty damn cool with that whirlwind going on all sides u you and the whole thing shaking while yer hanging on for dear life in there :w00t:
