This template is built around two things: health and powerpool. When I am in the back of enemy support, sometimes it is hard for healers to heal me, and I often run out of power due to interupts. I also kept instruments capped because I like to run with an oj or red pet. That is just gads of fun. Also my qui is high so that I can swing faster and get more of my Traitors procs off. Get one or two of thsoe on a caster and just move on to the next. I also wear Battler on my back for the ABS charge when I have tanks on me.

Note: This temp is built around a Highlander's resists (5 cold, 3 crush, 2 slash). Also, I use a totally separate template for soloing.

@ Jandar. Saans role is interrupting and not with the MA therefore the str isnt that important. He wouldnt need to worry about dex either because I believe he's slash and he's not grp CCer so he wouldnt need it there to kick up mez cast. (I may be wrong but I believe thats the reason for that)

Yeah Sep is basically right. The only thing that involves dex in my role is Demez, and for not being a primary caster, with buffs, I am still casting that pretty quickly. I also have no use for str because the group does not rely on my WS or WD. I am not assisting, so the only thing that I use my weapon for is the Vamp Mist procs. So as far as melee goes, I am just worried about the melee speed. Also, my CC is hard coded. My flute mez is 3 seconds and my AOE is 5. The only casting my dex affects is bubbles :o

yeah it stinks. last month's TL included a request to change this, but I could care less. I think our class is pretty well-balanced. If they do change it, great!

Minstrels are the group's attack dog. They try to tick people off keeping em interupted or locked with stun. BUT if you do get to the point for more balanced groups, it will be part of the assist train.... Alb's got the bone in the tank dept., but every balanced group has a mini assist train at least =)

If you're playing all caster group that looks pretty good... might wanna increase the range of those dd's and stuns though. If you're stealther grouping... we'll... uhhh not enough damage output. Same with playing a balanced group. Might wanna pick up the damage in that case as well. Can always have multiple sets of gear to play all the roles evenly. Pretty decent template though, GJ!
