Do people still roll Armsmen? :P

This is my Wal-Mart $9.99 cheapo suit for my Armsman. I had most of the items and armor already and I just couldn't see investing a bunch of time and money into getting and leveling artifacts since I pretty much only use him to beat on Dragons and what not. It uses some 99% armor and has several charges and procs on the different items. I really love the new MP glowie sword that I found for 1plat with it's End. proc.

I need some advice, which ablatives should I add to the 4 player crafted armor pieces? And what types are available?

You've already answered the question. I'm sure you meant to ask another by the looks of it. An ablative is a melee health buffer. It's that proc or charge that you use to take more melee damage.

What I'm guessing is that you want to know what tincture to place into your armor? Well many options, reactives or charges. Reactives are 'reverse procs' going off when your armor is struck. Charges are a pool of instant effects on an 80s RuT. Here's a common site to check:
http://www.midnightsojourn.com/recipes.html

Otherwise here's the cut and paste:
Reactive Fire Arcanium Armor Tincture (procs DD heat)
Reactive Cold Arcanium Armor Tincture (procs DD cold)
Reactive Energy Arcanium Armor Tincture (procs DD energy)
Reactive Spirit Arcanium Armor Tincture (procs DD spirit)
Reactive Hardening Arcanium Armor Tincture (procs blue AF buff)
Reactive Eroding Arcanium Armor Tincture (Procs DoT)
Reactive Celeric Arcanium Armor Tincture (Procs haste)
Reactive Shard Arcanium Armor Tincture (Procs bubble)
Reactive Ablative Arcanium Armor Tincture (Procs melee health buffer)

~Generally people use ablatives. Damage reactives can break root in rvr, af buff can't overwrite a bot's buff and is weaker, haste is best left in potions and charges, dot's break root and possibly give the opponent a sort of immunity to mez/root if you proc it on them before cc. (dot keeps ticking damage which breaks the cc)

Charges are similiar, there are differing ones. Some have stat bonuses like bot buffs, lifetaps, etc. Not really bothering to put them in because they aren't decent suggestions and more for personal preference.

In closing, Ablatives for grouping. Mix abs, dd's, dots depending on the opponents you intend to solo rvr. If for pve, who cares:) w/e works, depending on the mob, find their weakness (usually body/heat/spirit in alb) and go with that. GL

[Most commonly the phrase is 'there is no room in group for an RvRmsmen anymore.' Though they have great unload, plate armor and generally well rounded tanks... they rely on 1 wep (which is beaten by bt's), get a very low quality rr5 ability (ss - sprint while firing an xbow... interupts some casters? :/), and the server you're playing on seems to have a lot of high spec crush wep opponents (don't know why, most often they're hittting chain wearing albs now-a-days, guess they're just too in love with crush styles -- crush weps are good vs. plate wearers). I love armsmen none the less, good on assist trains, and if you lead with a dw toon on your train, your unload from 2h or pole can still be effective. Just don't complain on the armsmen boards when mercs are getting rvr spots over you:/ ]

I'm keeping my lips sealed about that template ~eg~

Thanks Dave for the info.

I'm keeping my lips sealed about that template ~eg~

No where did I say or imply it was a great or even a good suit and I can take constructive criticism, but most peeps would "ASS"ume that when I called it a "Wal-Mart $9.99 cheapo suit" that is wasn't being posted as a uber RvR suit and when someone post that they only use it to "beat on Dragons and what not" that it isn't going to be used too often. My objective was to use stuff I could buy or quest, use some 99% armor that I already had and use no arties.

BTW I'm keeping my lips sealed about your opinion of the suit. ~eg~ :P

This is what I was wearing, so this new stuff is a major improvement.
