How can I make my own crosshair?

I'm wondering if some one could tell me how to make my own crosshair, I just want to be a better player in sam :)

A crosshair isn't going to make you a much better player. I used to think like that too, but I don't think it will help you much. Start out with the big crosshair and learn to get pretty accurate and as you get better use the smaller crosshairs and try to be more precise. I can't imagine a more accurate crosshair than the X or the +.

I have made a crosshair that worked, it was so ****ing nice, it was accurate anough, but didnt change accuracy of guns, but I dont use it, lost it a long time when I stopped using it... Didnt make me any bit better, I say the best, is the 1 that looks like a O, with a halfass X in it

i disagree because when you do not have a crosshiar, you have no focal point, making it harder to be accurate

with shotty u only need to know the general area where to aim (considering lag and ping) sniper has zoom and u can aim easily, rl is pretty much same as shotty, machine gun is somewhat more diff but when u find that perfect spot where u hit the enemy just track him all the way with your mouse.

Also in first person the focal area is the center of the screen :P

making your own crosshair is extremely difficult, first you have to extract an existing crosshair, import it into photoshop, change whatever you are going to change, and add a masking layer. if all of this sounds really complex, that is because it is, that's why you don't see too many custom crosshairs in screenshots. maybe you would be happier either making it larger or smaller. to do that just press tilde and enter /hud_fCrosshairScale=0.5 for smaller, 0.25 for tiny, 1.5 for larger or any number in-between. this will last until you change it.

i totally disagree whit what you said but......

All i know is that the only weapon i cant be super accurate without cross hair is the pistol.

Mignium in first is easier.Shooty in 3rd is more then precise.Timing and angles are all you need.

Single shotty in 3rd is amazingly accurate.I can be on top of the bridge in hole where heart and shoot seomeone where serious damage and you would never know what hit you.

But nitro maybe in a lan one day i could show you what i mean by precise

Its super easy if you know how to fight with out cross hair, I tried it once and I got
67 frags and 30 kills

i just cant seem to play without crosshair. MY crosshair could be barely a spec on the screen, but I need at least something to be there.

Uh... Focus onto your screen... Look in center, and remove crosshair, notice the center, and start shooting, where which fits center... Crosshair helps when you are about to snipe someone... And your too far from edge, it tells you your shot is close

I can be snipe accurate without crosshair with the pistol sometimes, its hard though, but I use crosshair alot, so it doesnt matter

in my opinion no crossair is better. I get to distract it with crossairs.:( I actually play worse lol:confused:
