Of course this is only legal if you own the original games and systems, or if you only plan to use the hack to play homebrew stuff...

A PSP hack has been released which lets you run homebrew software and emulators on the PSP that works on the 1.50 firmware (North America's version).

I haven't tried this out myself yet but there are reports that this works with all sorts of emulators including SNES and NES. The only downside is that it requires 2 memory cards for now. Once I get a second card I'll test this out and report back.

...how unsettling...

but i shall still be buying a DS at the end of the week, even if it won't play old (S)NES games...

yeah... i've just never got on the pirating bandwagon before, i just mean that it's unsettling that people find it "acceptable"

but that's just me

In other news, i picked up that DS today :D

Cool! Metroid Prime:Hunters doesn't come out for a while which i think will be one of the best games on the DS. When i tried it out at EB the stylus felt really comfortable. The DS breaks from the norm very well IMO. ;D

Well today the homebrew hack was updated so that it no longer requires 2 memory cards, just one. Also, a GBA emulator for PSP was released today.

You shouldn't use those emulators. They can permenately damage your PSP.
