I knew the 1:13's were possible. With that.. I bet even the 1:12's are reachable.

Rosie you are my inspiration! After a total of 4 hours now of practice I finally broke the 1:12 barrier.

Fastest time so far is a 1:12.711.

With race fuel I am in the high 1:13's and low 1:14's.

This should be fast enough I suppose.

Oh and yea.. Sachs bend sneaks up on you quite fast!

Damn Dark that's quick man. My best was a 1:13.213 thats with qualy fuel. Race pace is mid 14's. Got to practice some more I guess. I still have 2 Hrs from my allocated 4.

And then Homer comes to qualifying and gets a 1:10. :D I can see it. You sure keep me on my toes.

well I don't know about 1:10 but I managed a 1:12.9 for qualy and I don't think I can do a better lap than that.

Man we are even once again in times. With me racing as Alonso, you should be with Mclaren using Kimi. Then this would be perfect and like the real races.

Hey.. :)

I installed F1 Challenge again after two years break... And grabbed those 2004 packs as well. ;)

So, I went straight to Germany to test.. After 15-20 mins of driving I was able to set 1:16's with that RH2004 Germany vehicle setup.

What I'm asking is, how fast can you drive with that setup? Am I 3-4 secs slower than you guys only because of my n00bish skills, or do you guys have better vehicle setups that could help me easily cut few more seconds?

Its all in how you setup the car. The RH file should only be a starting point to your overall setup. Usually I tweak the wings, acceleration, tyre cooling, suspension, and fuel load.

Here is a good site to go visit to learn more about the different aspects of your setup..

Also remember practice makes perfect. We have been racing a lot longer now. 1:16 is not bad for just starting out again.

Get yourself familiar with the car and let's jump in a game together and do a few laps. Do you have headphones and mic for teamspeak?

Yeah I have a mic.. ;)

Anyway, thx for the site. I'll try to find the setup that fits my driving style. :) In older F1 games (F1 2000, F1 2001) I've usually been better with bigger wings and better downforce. ;) I lose in the straights, but get it back in the curves.

Damn, it seems like the setup guide site is down. :(

I drove 1:15's a lot..

Still gotta cut one more second..

We should test you out on my connection. If you can get a good ping and make our crazy U.S. time.. jump in our league. What is your time difference? 7-8 hours?
