I realize you don't have this information yet, but I'll pre-ask the question so you remember to post it here when you have it...

What is the IP for the GM Sam2 Server (and password, if necessary)

I'll have to verify with Slash, but the plan is to take down the current gold map server and replace it with this, so the IP should be the same. Once its up I'll update my post.

I've heard that the only way multiplayer works is by joining by IP.

Some seriouszone members posted IP's, but none of them worked (for me).

I'll wait and see if Slash's IP works, when and if he gets a map running.

Well? Are any of you getting the same or noticing the same problems such as the sound skipping and lag as I mentioned? in a previous post? I am not sure if lag is the word for it but do you notice the mouse skipping and the screen jumping?

They will definetly need death match for this to survive. I can honestly say that having that many enemies on the screen is not enough for me to want to buy this. With good reason though because after continously killing the bad noisy monsters, I am finding it boring real quick. The concept is pretty much the same as playing the older game. I actually think the graphics looked better and cleaner in the older versions. Does anyone else feel the same ?

Well my first impressions were:
Its colourful but seems gawdy. Noticed the game was jerky in its game play, really wasnt all that smooth kinda like at times it was like stop motion. Had lots n lots of enemies, but that was a given :P

Didnt seem like you could run as fast or hardly jump for that matter. There was no knife for a weapon  Not sure, but wonder if even can code for things like "Nameditor".

My final impressions: Dissapointment at the least. Seemed up to now all Secretive or all Hype and Now, not much in its substance! Has kinda been said before, but I feel Croteam seems to have left their core game, and their core fans high and dry or in my case expecting and wanting more (and I DONT mean more enemies lol)!! Imo SSFE and SSSE were much more unique, and Fun to play!!

Sam Stones voice ?? Narrating in SS2 single play

I thought Salv was going to get mad at me for making comments on this game before the beta was released to the public. I noticed many people view the thread but not one person commented and I am glad that people will see for themself.

I am curious how long did you play out side of multi-player mode?

Is it normal that the sniper does more damage when zoomed in ?

I tried to destroy my "ship" .. now if you zoom in you only need one shot but if you dont zoom you need at least two ?!?

What are yall talking about mouse skipping and games pausing?, I'm having no sound/computer/graphics problems at all

Anyway, This game rocks

Am I the only one that can't set the controls right. Every other game I have ever played be it demo or not I have been able to turn with mouse movement. Not with this one. So far I will keep my money cause as it is now the game is unplayabe to me. Unless there is a different way to set the controls to where I move my mouse to the leaft or to the right and turn.

After screwing with it for an hour I give it a 5 thumbs down.

Setting your controls is easiest if you don't even touch your mouse. Just use the arrows to go through the menus and press enter to change an option.

Croteam should be absolutely embarrased by the menu and setup options. They either are completely disconnected from the PC crowd, or signed their lives away with Take 2.

Been playing coop tonight. People are using their IP's for the names of their servers. Take their IP and type it in the "specific server" box.
Here's a pic of me getting a ride on one of the hover crafts:
