I know of 1 definition of T & A, but I'm sure hoping that's not the same thing...

TA means Total Annihilation. This is basically in a way a sequel of it, as it is made by the same developers.

previous characteristics (of TA and TA CC (expansion pack)):

- 3d map
- Really realtime effects like: higher grounds like shooting further, easier to defend : not every shot is a hit.
- amazing performance on low system (very well programmed)
- over a hundred different units where all three elements r fully suported by at least 20 differents units
- massive battles
- Tactic weaponry: Long distance cannon, stealth hawk, torpedo bombers, nukes, emp, nukedefencetowers etc etc
- A nuke is really a NUKE!:D
- Awesome to see 200 fighters shooting rockets while flying artistic over an enemy base with 100 bombers laying a carpet of bombs
- building units can help factories to build a unit faster
- MUCH MORE

I'm hoping that they programming it as good as they did with TA... Otherwise I have to buy a new pc to fit the game
