I was wondering if itd be worth it or not to by the new sam? I mean I hear alot of people that say it sux. I am not looking to play the game, just sam online. But it seems there isnt nearly as many people playing sam anymore as there Used to be. So are they playin the new one? Or is sam just dying? Also is it worth to by? THX:confused:

It's not worth it unless you really enjoyed Serious Sam:TSE's SP. Otherwise MP is a piece of trash.

Basically no one plays SS2 (there's one coop server) so stick with SSS:SE.

Look, plenty people still play ssse, regardless of what gets said here.... The people here that dss ssse dont play it.....

Keep looking at posts, and you'll find out the people that still play, you keep fragging in ssse, and im sure youll meet a good 80% of Gamemecca.....

Yea I'd think they would be losing money. e.g. playing sam instead of working.

The fact is that the DM in sam 2 is far more balanced then ssse. With some changes I think it can be pretty entertaining.

Is it worth it?

SS2: No, not right now.
SSSE: Yes, but ....

Both versions of the game's net code sucks and have problems, but if you can deal with the problems of SSSE then save your money and have fun with SSSE until and IF Croteam ever fixes SS2. SS2's most recent patch fixed a bunch of stuff, but the lagginess in the online portion was not one of them.

He hit the nail on the head. The solo mission for SS2 was great, but the multiplayer blows donkey balls.
