Crism does the U in SLK-900U mean it's an updated model? The Thermalright website doesn't list a U model. LINK (http://www.thermalright.com/slk900.html)
Also, The reason I ask is according to this review LINK (http://www.systemcooling.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=401) you might have problems getting it to fit.

The tremendous length of the heatsink combined with the change in the rotational orientation of the fins results in the fact that the SLK-900 will NOT fit many AMD-based motherboards. As a matter of fact, out of well over a dozen different motherboards of various brands that we checked, both old and new, the ONLY one we found that the SLK-900 fit without interference was the Epox 8RDA+. This is obviously a glaring problem that needs to be addressed, as it will preclude many, if not most, AMD system from using this heatsink. Intel P4-based systems, with the larger open area around the processor socket, should not suffer the same sort of issues, although in any case, potential buyers should do their homework before purchasing the SLK-900.

i don't think it was designed for the 38mm thick fans because those clips are stretched wicked far...and i have to take off the screws on the grill to put the clips on properly...oh will...i just can't wait till my 2.53GHz C1 goes flyin to 3GHz+
