I've noticed that it is getting harder and harder to place the mouse in the charger and have the charge light come on. At 1st I could just set it in and it would start charging. It seems like I have to wiggle it more and more now for the contacts to engage properly.

Anyone else having this problem?

Would try it with a clean dry cloth first

I try to remember to put it in whenever I leave the computer. But sometimes I forget at night, so it varies. But even if it doesn't need to be charged the light is supposed to come on for a few minutes.

No not with alcohol. That could damage the plastic of the mouse.

u can also try putting some window cleaner on a dry cloth and try it that way! But make sure its dry be4 putting it back into the charger

Okay, I just rubbed a clean cloth on the mouse contacts and now it seems to work better. I guess I'm just going to have to clean it once a week or so. I don't know why they are getting dirty though. I don't think the contacts touch the table. :WTF:

Thanks!

I haven't had any troubles with mine.

Oh, to clean your contact, use an eraser. An eraser will clean contacts really well, and that it what I use at work, when I don't have a board that seets right and doesn't make contact due to oil. I have some contact cleaner here, there you can spray right into a live outlet, and it won't short out, it is nonconductive. This also works like on vid cards too, by some change if you can get a good contact, or something (I hope that you wouldn't have oil in your puter case  )

Hope that helps ;)
