Serious Sam II ?

I am curious if anyone is playing Serious Sam II at this time.

Please say if you are playing single player, Co op or DM. Don't have the game myself but I would like to know if anyone is still playing.

Note: I am asking for replies from CURRENT players only, if it turns into a Croteam bashing thread I will delete it and send the fleas of a thousand camels to infest the private regions of the offenders.

Not right now Goob.. The DM and Co-op left a little to be desired, but the single player was kinda fun ! :thumbs:

MP they totally fukked up

anyway SSSE was a way better game and had a great feel to it made u wanna play it and for a long time

The SP Coop was fun and I enjoyed the grafic very much.
But the MP wasn´t stable enough... (it depends on the power of the server)
and the DM isn´t the same fun like the second encounter (I missed a lot like knife running, jumping etc.)
Another problem is, there are not many servers and those which are running, are mostly not updated to the latest patch. I have all patches installed but can only find 1 or 2 servers to play.
That´s why I stopped playing Sam 2 and sometimes when I find a lil bit time, just play SS:SE for fun :)

Thanks everyone for answering my post. I had no idea that the 3rd version of Sam was so bad on MP. I knew there were problems but thought they might be fixed with patches. (what was I thinking?). Thanks again for the answers. I was curious as to what had become of the game, because no one talks about it here.

Been concentrating on UT2004, the movements are so different that I can't play both and be good at either one.

Yup the coop is still alive...

2 evenings I run a server for some fun and both times got a full server. And I must say... some levels are pretty kewl to walk through with multiple:)

i enjoyed the SP game, but multiplayer coop, that was a joke. bouncing back and forth in place, stuff disappearing and reappearing, rockets not firing, (what is a jiminator without his rockets?) etc, just not fun. but gg!

I asked about lag and they all said it was well playable so maybe the last few patches fixed something.:D

And for the SP... It was great I think. Just too bad they did many things very well (graphics, weapons, diversity, vehicles, Giant spiders etc.), but kinda failed on a few critical points (like a decent ending/endboss and too ridiculous enemies)

For the overall it has some awesome levels and freaking hilarious/original cutscenes. Some still make me laugh big time.

What i have try play co-op with new patch, good ping server...It was unplayable. Bouncing back every two seconds. If you die... you won't even see it, ur just back at start. :P
