It was a short active holiday, we went to the east pasrt of our country The Netherlands. Travelled by train and then did a bike tour from hotel to hotel.
Just enjoy the outdoors, luggage goes by car, don't have to look for a place to stay. We were very lucky that the weather was great!!

Thats were we stayed the first night, it was more for horse minded people, but we do like animals :D

Overnight sleeping place for these sheep, afterwards they went to the moor.

there were four sheepdog with this flock.

crossing the border into Germany.

lot of farmland, but not really big farms.

and again a suprise:

help yourself to coffee or tea, cake and/or cookies.If you wanted you could donate some money. There had been a wedding :D

Wow those are great pics Di. :thumbs: Or with all that biking maybe you really are Lance A. :D In the 3rd set of pics the one with the sheep crossing the road. Is the road paved with brick or is the lighting? I see there is a bike path along side the car path is it like that throught the countryside or just some places? Hi the road is paved with bricks. They set out the routes away from the normal roads, so there are less cars. I think 50% was like that.

Very nice pics, DiTo! There's not much "countryside" here in Indianapolis, but I'm gonna start taking snaps anyway and start posting (winter snow in the midwest is always beautiful)....
